Lynn presented a paper at The International Quilt Study Center symposium at the University of Nebraska in the Spring of 2007 and is now an Associate Fellow of the Institution.

Her work was selected and shown in the Lotz Textile Trennial in Poland in the summer of 2007.

In July the first Manchester International Festival took place and Lynn was commissioned to make work for a children’s event as part of the Great Indoors. The result was a colourful garden made from waste and recycled materials involving the work of hundreds of children and student volunteers

In Sept she was selected to take part in the Design Camp Initiative a three week residency in Ahmedabad India. This was a group project set up to work with local artisans and makers to look at new and sustainable product development. Lynn’s outcomes varied from beaded maps of the city, recycled waste bins, to a range of handmade shopping bags both utilising traditional craft skills and contemporary design.

The role of vegetables, a new quilt is part of The Mechanical Drawing Exhibition which began touring in the autumn of 2007 in Manchester and venues in 2008 include The Hub in Sleaford, Macclesfield Silk Museum and the Knit and Stitch Show (various venues)

Lynn is currently taking time out of exhibiting to develop a new body of work that she hopes to showcase in 2009/10.
